Backlinking - Forums or Blogs?

What do you guys think is better for getting good backlinks, forums or blogs?  Personally I prefer forums, but that's just me, maybe it's because I'm just such a social butterfly.  However, I've heard of people having lots of success from popular blogs too.  So what do you guys use when you backlink to your site?

I like more blogs links. As I know, SEs like blogs links more than forums links.
But it depends of the forum.
If it's trustful and loved by SEs, linking from such forums will be very good tactics.

Blog commenting can be social too, we can build a community if we constantly comment on the same blogs and be friends with the blog owner. I don't count on either forum or blog. I count on both. I got traffic from blogs and also forums. I love to mix it.
