Hey friends, If you have anchor text rich backlinks profile and if you want to fix it then do not change your backlink's anchor text to make it more natural because it causes trouble.

Pedro Dias a former member of Google's search quality said that, "Did you know Google is less likely to trust a link once it has changed from the 1st time it was seen?"

Google views changing anchor text of a backlink as suspicious.

So, I suggest you to remove links if possible or disavow or get more backlinks to keep ratio at safe level but, do not change an anchor text.

From a common sense perspective, this makes sense as if you see a link that's being modified, there are chances it is being done on purpose and as such, it is not an honest, natural link anymore.
It's probably more useful to get rid of the unwanted links and build some new ones instead.

For a content that is already published and crawled, once modified by the webmasters or owners it will create confusions due to edited structures.

Anchor Text is the directly visible, clickable text in a hyperlink. If anchor text changing is a factor in how valuable a link is in the eyes of Google, then SEOs need to consider the impact that changing anchor text on older links will have.
