Yups forum posting is very good method to create the links for your site. Forums are the discussion board we can learn alot of things and can share alot of knowledge with others on the other hand with the signature in the posts can be useful to gain the traffic and they can be treated as the backlinks also sp forum posting is very good technique of the seo.

As you develop a reputation on the forum, you will be allowed to add a signature link that gets placed below each of your posts. At this point you would want to place a link back to your site. The more you post, the more backlinks are created for your site. Being that Google only counts one dofollow link per site, your frequent postings will have more beneficial effects on the other major search engines such as Bing and Yahoo.

If you can use relevant and high quality forums you will not ban and get full benefit of this method.

Forum posting is a common strategy used in search engine optimization (SEO) to build backlinks and increase website visibility. It involves participating in online forums and communities related to your niche or industry, and contributing valuable content or information.

Here are a few tips for effective forum posting:

1. Choose Relevant Forums: Find forums that are active and relevant to your industry or niche. Look for forums with engaged members and discussions that align with your expertise or the content you intend to promote.

2. Build a Reputation: Establish yourself as a credible and knowledgeable contributor by providing helpful and insightful responses to questions or discussions. Engage in meaningful conversations and avoid self-promotion or spammy behavior.

3. Include Links Naturally: When appropriate, include links to your website or relevant content within your forum posts. However, ensure that the links are relevant and add value to the conversation. Avoid excessive link-dropping as it may be seen as spam and harm your reputation.

4. Follow Forum Rules and Guidelines: Each forum has its own set of rules and guidelines. Make sure you familiarize yourself with them and abide by them to maintain a positive reputation within the community.

5. Be Consistent and Active: Regularly participate and contribute to discussions on the forum. This helps in building relationships with other forum members and increases your chances of getting backlinks and referral traffic.

primary goal of forum posting should be to provide value to the community and engage in meaningful discussions. Building backlinks should be a secondary benefit that arises naturally from your active participation.

I don't think that the part of this posting that is in bold is correct. If the links are all on the same page I would agree, but forum threads are different pages and provided each is indexed then links from separate pages will count separately.
