well forum posting can be a good way to links but be sure that it doesn't get so much that it is out in eye of google .. mix it with blog comments and also other websites links

I don't think that the part of this posting that is in bold is correct. If the links are all on the same page I would agree, but forum threads are different pages and provided each is indexed then links from separate pages will count separately.

in refference to only counting one link i think you are getting slightly confused with the part of the algorythm that counts the amount of class C ip address's this is to try and stop you hosting thousands of sites on one package and exploiting your links, but this is just a guid line not a must.
