Start your OFF page activity with quality sites, don't unnecessarily get backlinks from low quality sites. Initially if you concentrate on these things, you can avoid getting backlinks from spammy sites. There are many ways in which you get backlinks from a spam site. You can check your backlinks in backlink checker tools and eliminate those spam sites.

Hi Tahir,

Where are you from? You name seems Bangladeshi. Are you from Bangladesh?

Now about your question, you can check spam links towards your site from Google Webmaster tool. You need to have a Google Webmaster tool where you have to verify your site first (by uploading a HTML file on the root folder or add a custom tag on the index page of your site). Then just round around a bit in your webmaster tool account, you will see incoming links section. Check that and mark all the spam links (select very carefully please, make sure you are not selecting good ones as SPAM!) and then use disavow tool.

I don't think so there is any direct method to get information about spam backlinks. You have to find those links manually. You can check the PA (Page Authority), DA (Domain Authority), PR (Page Rank) of website from where you are getting backlink. All these must be high at least PA, DA is  >25 and PR >2-3.

Thanks You for answer. Many seo company have wired methods, creating low webs, using domains with authority under 15, but google treats those like spamm sites. So to sum up, it have no result in seo.

Google web tools shows those spammy links after few weeks. And few times, I had to deal with it manually.

There are a wide range of tools out there like A Hrefs, Majestic SEO, SEO Spyglass.
Webmaster tools will inform you if any malicious links, or a large amount of links have been found recently.

The main difference between good and bad backlinks is the quality of the website they are on. Depend on these signs you can see whether a backlink is good or bad:
- Links from a website that is just set up for SEO links
- Links from the comments of other websites
- Links with over optimized anchor texts
- Links within lousy, duplicate texts
- Links from China, while your local audience is in the US  :-\

The most common bad links are social Bookmarking websites, comments that are auto approved from sites that are not moderated, links from pages with very little content, backlinks from websites with duplicate content, link directories, links from irrelevant websites and content.
