If your website contains SPAM links, No other goal you have to delete it yourself.

If some spam links are pointing your website: Just Go with Google, Ahrefs, Backlinkswatch, Seomoz, SEO spyglass to check & collect the unwanted links. (Some webmasters are saying Google disavow/sandbox a "myth"). Remove by contacting the website admin or its tough to remove the SPAM back-links.

You can remove bad or spam links by contacting the webmasters individually. Bad backlinks are harmful for your website and they can harm your keyword ranking.

Google created the Sandbox with good reasons. Google was trying to discourage spam sites from quickly reaching the top of Search Results, getting dropped off Google, creating a new site and repeatedly showing up high in Search Results.

There is no any way rather than contacting site owners one by one to remove the links and disavow the bad links by using Google tool. I'm also working on a tool that will automate the process. It'd contain on 3 simple steps, 1st is search your site backlinks then shows you the list of backlinks along with site owners contact details that will pull off from whois data, the 2nd step would be just select the links you want to rid off, and the 3rd step would be send an email to the site owners with just one click. Because the email template will be attached with it. So, you don't have to do a bit of effort to write an email template.

I am sure you might hear Google's disavow tool. You need to use this tool to remove all links which you want to remove from your site.  First of all, You have to gather all low quality and spammy links. and disavow all of them by using Google disavow tool.
