Google always come up with the new updates so you need to change your strategy accordingly. as per the new update, you can not cache the third party website, so if you post a link on any website and that website is not cached or crawl rate is too less so there might be the chance you won't get the link juice.so just do the backlink on a website with good da pa & crawl rate.
there is no technique to know the crawl rate of a website you just need to hit & try.

Google is pretty secretive about the precise nature of the signals that make up its algorithm, but one thing we do know is that while the search giant seems to be constantly striving to reduce the weight that links have in that algorithm, they've largely failed, and links are more or less just as important as ever. Link building techniques 2018 of mine:
1). Talk on Podcasts and at Events
Do this, and at a minimum you'll get a link from the host's site, but odds are you'll get links from the sites of attendees that produce write-ups of the event, or who link to the podcast. You can get similar results if you sponsor an event or podcast, too.
Of course, public speaking does take a certain level of confidence and skill. Few people are naturally great speakers, but it's something you can work on improving.

2). Link Building with Videos
I'm a little surprised that 66% of SEOs found link building with videos to be effective, if only because so many of our hard-earned backlinks wind up in Google's pocket when we create videos (thanks to YouTube being the de facto video sharing platform).

Nevertheless, the numbers speak for themselves. Many experts have seen a lot of success in self-hosting videos on their website and/or sharing them on their social media pages. If you have been itching to include some video in your back-link building strategy, there's never been a better time to start.

These two techniques which I uses most of the time to generate quality back links under my Niche.

Simple link building tips

Although proper link building is not an easy thing to do, there are still many white hat SEO techniques you can start with even today, without considerable efforts or expenses.

1. Ask for backlinks
This is a good way to start, especially if you are a beginner in this job. Think about your friends, relatives, colleagues, partners, clients that have a blog or a site. All you have to do is ask for a backlink. Ask for in-content links instead of links in the sidebar or footer.
But be careful and make sure that the backlink comes from a website that is relevant to your niche. Otherwise, it will not have too much of an impact and may even be harmful.

2. Build relationships
For good link building, you need to build good relationships. There are plenty of opportunities to build new contacts. You should start with niche-related communities: forums, blogs or social groups, such as the Link Building Experts Group on Facebook, for example.
Make the first step and start contributing with interesting and relevant comments and posts, providing contextual value to each discussion.
By actively participating in these online communities focused on your niche, you will not only gain some good backlinks, but you will always have access to the newest industry news and be able to connect to some interesting people that share your passions.

3. Give a testimonial
Testimonial link building is a win-win scenario. Many businesses offer you the chance to say a few words about your experience using their products.
On the one hand, this is a perfect way for them to build customer trust. On the other hand, it's a great opportunity for you to get a backlink and potential traffic from that site and it usually has a much higher approval rate than your standard link request e-mails.
Companies get another testimonial to place on their site, while you get a new backlink.
If you're a LinkResearchTools or Link Detox user and love our tools, you can start with your first testimonial here. We will gladly link back to you.
4. Start a blog
Don't make a blog with one post and one backlink to your site. If you do, you not only wasted your time but probably also just created another risky link for yourself. If you want to have your own blog, you need to keep it alive.
Write posts on a regular basis. Focus on your industry and on your client's needs! In time, it will most likely gain authority. Make sure that your content is relevant, useful and well-structured.
This is the only way to ensure that the world will want to link to it again and again. That's how you get great backlinks; you earn them!

5. List your site in trustworthy directories
There are many online directories that provide no real value to the Internet users and Google has excluded them from its search results. You don't want your website to be listed on such pages.
But not all online directories are bad. A directory that not only gives you the chance to post a link to your website, but also provides useful information for your potential customers is a directory you want to be listed on.
Niche directories and directories attached to informative websites for a specific industry are a good choice. Having your business listed with such directories makes it easier to get indexed in the major search engines and helps people find you online.

As much as I hate it, I must say that email outreach still remains one of the most effective link building methods.

Yes, it takes a lot of time, research, management, sending emails/reminders and you still can't be sure whether it will be successful or not. That's why I hate it :D

I did some outreach email campaigns with a very low response rate 2–3%. But a recent one I did with my colleague was a massive success as we reached 16% response rate and earned a lot of quality backlinks.

I took a look at what we did and formulated these actionable techniques for you:

  • Website research - find relevant articles and where exactly your link could be placed, categorize the website depending on metrics and find valid email addresses
Email - Your email should be catchy and should clearly state what do you want and what you offer
Exchange - Prepare for a situation where most of the people will be looking for linking back to their site. If possible, propose more ideas so you won't be pushed to reciprocal linking
Content - Make sure your content is linkable. Doing email outreach for average content wouldn't make much sense
Synergy - The content is the ammo and the outreach email your gun. Their synergy will boost your chances!
Forget about templates - Stop thinking about using templates, your email should be a message that is personalized as much as it can be so the person doesn't feel as one of the hundreds of your targets. But don't be too cheesy!
Don't forget to send reminders but I think 1 is enough.
    Track the results
Test and learn from your own fails. You'll see what works best in your niche.
