I have tried to get back links to my website. I have had companies call me, but I don't have that kind of income coming in yet. Any Ideas?
Thanks

if you do not have that level of income yet, try monetinizing your website and build a few links by hand, such things as directory submissions, blog posting, forum signatures and bio's. Additionally posting on social networks will be a good start.

this will start to add traffic so that you can then turn the traffic into money. once you have built up your income enough to purchase a basic link building package this will then increase your income some more until you can afford to fully outscource your linkbuilding

You can collect free back links through Off Page promotion.

One thing you can do is post the coupon codes on coupon syndication sites with a backlink to your site.

Get links from niche sites. Use blog commenting, forum submissions and Guest blogging to build quality links. Avoid getting links from low quality sites.

Techniques of link building for your website:

1) Leave your website URL when you comment on someone's blog/website
2) Have social sharing buttons on your site so that people can share & hence you'll get quality backlinks.
3) Join forums of your niche, post a summary of your posts there & leave a link to the original post at the bottom.
4) Answer questions of your expertise & help someone by linking your answer to your posts(only suitable posts) It should not redirect the asker to any offbeat topic.
(Don't use Y!A for this, your answers may get deleted)
5) Submit your blog URL to Blog Directories like Technorati
