Hey guys,

starting of this month my traffic drop by more than 50% which totally affects my website ranking,

I know there was a Google algorithm update happened. But how can recoup my traffic? Is there any possible chance to recoup my normal traffic which i have before the google update.

Which traffic you are talking about? Organic, Social or Referral. First of all, you need to do a bit of analysis. If your organic traffic dropped, then you must check on working keywords & its targeted landing pages. Ask yourself, check a customer point of view, Is your web page is relevant to the search queries related to your products/services? Check your competitor's page and their work activities. Then come to Social platforms, check all the key points at Google Analytics.
Work solution: I'd say, initially if you want to improve organic traffic, you must adopt a content marketing strategy; take low competition keywords and write contents & postings. First goal to grab the attention of mostly auto search keywords/key phrases. I hope this process will help you.

Absolutely right!
I think you must know why your traffic is 40%-50% down.

If you have google analytics or similar, you can compare two months of traffic by source, so you can identify what channel or channels are impacting the traffic lost.

If your traffic is down because of organic search... you have to dig deeper to know what specific links aren't pulling traffic. I know a lot of sites that have a similar situation after a site redesign because they changed all the URLs

Hey kustifranti,

The thread was posted in Nov18,
So I think you should close the thread or if the traffic is back to normal, you should mark the thread as solved!
