Title: Smae Domain Backlinks
Post by: SEOleo on 01-17-2012, 07:33:54
Hello everyone!

You all could have noticed webpages with Google backlinks from the same domain.
I mean a backlink to www.example.com from www.example.com/about-us.

How could you explain this? Which pages are considered to be able to give backlinks? Why not every link is counted as a backlink?

Thanks!

Does the age of the website matter Or maybe PageRank?
What you think?
Doesn't Google count backlinks from young websites.

age is a small ranking factor in googles algo as many new domains rank higher thank olderones if there SEO is better, one of the majour points of evaluating SEO is by looking at a sites Pagerank, this is a metric that is given to a website by google and indicates how "powerful" google thinks that site is. (this is a huge ranking farctor)

therefore all links from this "powerful" sites pages will have a big factor on how them pages rank in the SERPS.

It is truly essential to have differing qualities in your connection profile. Notwithstanding, in the event that you have 2-3 joins from one area, it isn't repulsive. Presently in the event that you have 100 connections from one area, that could be viewed as spam-my. I am not certain if there is an approach to separate these by rate of significant worth, similar to you are alluding to as Google has changed the way it values back connections. The second connection on a similar area would be more significant in the event that it were on an alternate space.
