In my opinion Backlink quality is a concept that is not clearly defined. Backlink quality is backlink natural, useful to users and has many real clicks.
For the convenience of link building, I would like to list the most important technical criteria of a high quality backlink:

  • Backlink in content
  • Backlink content is toxic
  • Backlink in the article with related content
  • Backlink has many links
  • High Pagerank
  • High PA
  • Dofollow backlink
  • Backlink brings a lot of traffic
  • Backlink has few links out
  • Backlink has many social interaction (Like, share, G +, Tweet ...)

Most of these are good, but PR is useless, google stopped updating this years ago and no longer uses it as a measure. PA is also useless - it's a value generated by Moz based on nothing but their own guesswork and not how Google ranks websites.
