I am a great Sumsung fan when it comes to Android products. My vote for the the best android tablet would go to "Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1" , it has everything that you need in an android tablet.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is definitely one of the best option for you but I recommend you go for "Google Nexus 7". For me it is the best android tablet available at the moment. I have been using it for about six months and absolutely loving it.

iPad is the leading tablet but I recently seen the one from Lenovo. It's a phablet actually so it doesn't perform as tablet only but a phone as well. The size for me is perfect if you want something handy. The features are competitive. It's performs like a Samsung Galaxy phones including the camera. It has 13mp back camera which is great and 5mp front which is fair enough for taking selfies :-)
