On-page optimization refers to all the parameters that are directly incorporated in a website to improve its visibility in Search Engines. Here is a list of the main factors that effect on on-page optimization:
- three types of meta tags (meta description tag, meta title tag and meta keyword tag). The information which is given in meta tags helps the search to index a page;
- two types of URL (static and dynamic);
- content optimization - it is a technique to make the home page or the content of any page more attractive and suitable for the users and search engines;
- canonicalization - is a process of converting data that involve more than one representation into a standard approved format;
- Rediraction - is a method used in SEO to direct a user or search engine to the desired path;
- crawl errors are web pages which cannot be indexed by Google or any other search engine and return an HTTP error code;
- page headings;
- SEO tags such as Nofollow, Dofollow and Noindex are a part of on-page SEO factors;
- Pobots.txt File;
