I think it will be interesting for you to know that bounce rate is extremely important in order to determine how your landing pages perform as compared to visitors' expectations while the exit rate is more important for determining which page in a process is not performing up to expectations.

Indeed, many of the people I have spoken to believe both exit rate & Bounce Rate mean exits from your page / site. Well, it is true to a certain extent the difference being that the exit rate differs slightly in that the existing visitor may have visited other pages on your site before leaving.

Bounce rate: Bounce rate is the percentage of the visitors visited the website and only looked at a single page before leaving your site, when a visitor bounces they do not visit any other pages on your site.
Exit rate: The exit rate does not take into consideration how many pages the visitor looked at,it only looks at the exit compared to the total exists.

Hello, I want to explain you , what is this concept about! Bounce rate is the percentage of people who landed on a page and immediately left. Bounces are always one page sessions. Exit rate is the percentage of people who left your site from that page. Exits may have viewed more than one page in a session. That means they may not have landed on that page, but simply found their way to it through site navigation.

HI
Exit Rate is the percentage that were the last in the session. For all sessions that start with the page, Bounce Rate is the percentage that were the only one of the session. Bounce Rate for a page is based only on sessions that start with that page.

Exit Rate is the percentage that was the last in the session. In the exit rate user browse multiple pages of the website. The user may visit many pages like home page, service page, category page, and contact us page, etc. of the website and can exit any of the pages while browsing.

Bounce Rate is the percentage that was the only one of the session. The bounce rate has a single-page session. In Bounce Rate user left the webpage of the site without interacting any of the further page.

Bounce rate is the percentage of people who landed on a page and immediately left. Bounces are always one page sessions. High bounce rates are often bad, but it's really a matter of context.

Exit rate is the percentage of people who left your site from that page. Exits may have viewed more than one page in a session. That means they may not have landed on that page, but simply found their way to it through site navigation.
