difference between exact keyword and broad keyword research?

Hello,

In exact keyword research you found the exact search of particular keyword in particular country, you found exact Google search for that keyword. and in broad search you found overall search volume of that keyword with also most related searches of that keyword.

For example,the exact keyword is "web hosting",if you search the statistic of the broad keyword research,any keyword including the phrase" web hosting" will be counted

Broad is word saying that very big for example you search in google "College" it shows up in tons of instances including things like, "she might be take admission in nursing college.
Exact is when you are trying to take admission in a MIT then your exact Keyword phrase would be "Admissions in MIT."

Exact match keywords takes long time to be optimized. Broad match or Long Tail keywords are easy for optimization, since it will have less search volume compared to exact match keywords.

You have to select keyword matching option to successfully run your Adwords Ad compaign. It helps to control for which searches can trigger your ad.

Broad match is the default matching option for the Adword ads. Broad match option allows to show your ad if a search term contains your keyword terms in any order and possibly along with other terms.

Your ads can show for singular or plural forms, synonyms, stemmings (such as find and finding), related searches, and other relevant variations. With broad match, you can get huge traffic but less relevant.

Exact match keyword option allows your ads to appear when someone searches for your exact keyword, without any other terms in the search. It will also show your ad when someone searches for the close variants of that specific keyword. Close variants include misspellings, singular and plural forms, acronyms, stemmings (such as find and finding), abbreviations, and accents.

Using exact match means that your keywords are targeted precisely and you will get more target oriented traffic.

For example, broad match results for 'web design' will also include search traffic for 'web design, web design company, web designer, best web design, how to design a website, learn web design ', etc.
