If your website has been affected by Google Penguin algorithm, there are several steps you can take to recover:

1. Identify and remove bad links: Use tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or Moz to identify low-quality or spammy backlinks pointing to your site. Contact the website owners to remove these links, and disavow the ones you can't get removed through Google's Disavow Tool.

2. Improve on-site content: Make sure your website has high-quality, relevant, and original content. Remove any thin or duplicate content that may be seen as low-value by search engines.

3. Focus on natural link building: Instead of focusing solely on building links, concentrate on creating high-quality content that naturally attracts backlinks from reputable websites in your industry.

4. Monitor and analyze backlink profile: Regularly monitor and analyze your backlink profile to spot any new low-quality links that may appear. Take necessary actions to disavow or remove them.

5. Follow Google's Webmaster Guidelines: Familiarize yourself with Google's Webmaster Guidelines and ensure your website and SEO practices comply with their recommendations.

6. Be patient and persistent: Recovery from a Google Penguin penalty takes time and effort. Continue with proactive link management and high-quality content creation to regain trust and authority.

7. Diversify anchor text: Avoid over-optimized anchor text and aim for a natural, diverse link profile with a mix of branded, generic, and relevant anchor text.

8. Enhance user experience: Focus on improving user experience on your website, including factors like page load speed, mobile responsiveness, intuitive navigation, and engaging content.

9. Conduct a thorough SEO audit: Evaluate your website for any technical SEO issues, such as proper use of canonical tags, correct implementation of structured data, and mobile usability.

10. Build relationships with influencers: Engage with influencers and authoritative figures in your industry to gain natural, high-quality backlinks and meaningful exposure for your content.

11. Utilize social media: Leverage social media platforms to promote your content and attract organic shares and links from users who find value in what you offer.

12. Seek professional help if needed: If you are struggling to recover from a Google Penguin penalty, consider consulting with an experienced SEO professional or agency for guidance and support.

hellow,

about content you need to check out both internal & external content first...

secondly most important is that links... figure it out where you have put it up links... as we know that quality does matter for ranking... so try to optimize possibility to create external links.

thirdly... make sure that avoid all black hat SEO because Google crawler is more smarter to identified the spammy activities.

fourth, it's not impossible but hard to get back from where we lost the ranking so don't wait for the next update & start only quality seo activities...

this might be helpful....

for more you can free feel to ask, most welcome

Thanks and regards
