I think, for performing competitor's analysis, you can analyze competitor's backlinks, marketing strategies, product/service cost, their customer's interest etc. Always try to catch, competitor's products and services and what, they are doing for that. On which keywords, they are promoting their services.

Content (quality, freshness)
