You can use Google Webmaster tools to find the 404 pages on your website. Once you have added and verified your site with the Google Webmaster panel, go to Dashboard –> Diagnostics –> Crawl Errors and select the “Not found” option.

You can check them with Google Webmaster tool if you have verified site ownership on Google Webmaster tool. If your site is not verified or you don't have access of webmaster tool, In this case you can find them through any online free tool.

Google webmaster tool will help you to check the 404 error pages or you can check them manually by one by one or through a software available online, software does not show the back links that are moved to other pages on a forum or site.

Webmaster tool is best option to check 404 page URLs. However, you may have others options as well. There are few websites from where you can get 404 page URLs by just entering website URL.

If you use our Google Analytics plugin, it’ll automatically tag your 404 pages for you. If you go to Behavior → Site Content → Content Drilldown and search for “404.html”, you’ll find a ton of info about your 404s.

You can check for 404 pages and error pages in the webmaster tools or there are alot of online tools to help you identify those pages where you just have to enter your url

If you change the URL of an existing page on your website, or delete it completely, visitors will get a 404 or “File Not Found” error when they try to access that page. The other reason why you have end up having 404 pages on your site is not in your control. Say your page URL is abc.com/xyz and another site links to that page but with a wrong URL, visitors will get a 404 when they click that link.
