How to find out why our website traffic tanked?

The reason I need to find out is, since our redirect problem is resolved, all website traffic has gone back up a lot, (both English One) except the Chinese website.
We added more content, it is very easy to rank, (no competition), so the traffic dropped is due to some configurations changes maybe?
Can anyone guide me to right way to get traffic back?

A website's traffic does not have a direct impact on its rankings within organic search results. If this were the case, new content would never be able to rank, since it would have no traffic. Also, consider that Google does not have access to the traffic statistics on every website.

It's either:

A manual action caused by link building tactics that violate Google's Webmaster Guidelines
A devaluation or loss of links.
Or an increase in links to one or more competitors' websites
