I think you've checked your speed score at https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/

And you knew all the reasons exist on your site. Just fix them.
btw, Img size is a huge problem for every web page as they're very "heavy-weight". I usually use Photoshop to optimize image.

Reduce server response time
Enable compression
Optimize images
Optimize CSS Delivery
Reduce the number of plugins you use on your site
Reduce redirects

By paying attention on these things you can reduce the page load time.

You need to do the following to increase the page load speed.

Reduce server response time
Enable compression & browser caching
Minimize HTTP Requests
Minify Resources
Optimize images & CSS Delivery
Prioritize above-the-fold content
