Image optimization is nothing but Every image on the website should be SEO friendly. Because of Search engine crawlers can't crawl the images, For every image there will be Alt text. Search engine can understand the category of the image by reference of that Alt text. And image should be in the jpg (or) jpeg format to get loaded easily.

Yes! You can optimize your article with 10 or more images by placing proper title with a brief description and proper alt tag. Please make sure to reduce and dimensions etc.

When it comes to SEO, it's important to use acceptable keywords to help your webpage rank on search engines. Creating descriptive, keyword-rich file names is absolutely crucial for image optimization. Search engines not only crawl the text on your webpage, but they also search for keywords within your image file names.

You should optimize your images for SEO. It is a great onpage factor but you can use the keyword as the name of the image and also write descriptive alt tag for the images. Don't use same alt tag for all the images. Keep it different for each and every image.

Image optimization is about reducing the file size of your images as much as possible without sacrificing quality so that your page load times remain low. It’s also about image SEO. That is, getting your product images and decorative images to rank on Google and other image search engines.
