Meta tags can be maximized by using the accurate words and phrases and Meta elements are HTML or XHTML elements used to provide structured meta data about a Web page. Such elements must be placed as tags in the heading.
Keyword is a word or phrase entered into a search engine in an effort to get the search engine to return matching and relevant results.

Meta tags consists of 3 things:
1. Meta Title
2. Meta Description
3. Meta Keywords

And Meta tags are placed in the Html coding of your webpage. You can add Keywords to all the three Meta tag elements to get good results in SERPs. But, unfortunately Google don't give preference to Meta Keywords. Your site should contain good content with your Keywords in it.

Keywords are the search terms that you put in your content according to your website and when people search someting on search engines then they are called search queries. You can use Adwords to know the best keyword that matches your needs and bring a lot of traffic. Keywords can be Broad, Narrow, Long Tail.

Meta tags are used in HTML coding of the webpage you can put keywords in it but Google doesn't use the meta keywords tag, it uses keywords to help identify a web site related to a user’s search. Keywords are used in contents.

Quite a while prior in the Internet world, site design improvement was a method to get showed on the first page of  any internet searcher like Google, Bing or Yahoo. You could perform this by showing your essential word all over on your site page and in your meta labels. Meta label decisive words were catchphrases, included into a particular field in the back end of a site. They gave creepy crawlies (programming projects conveyed via web search tools to discover and file content) a bearing what the site or point of arrival was about. Doing this privilege brought you perceivability and positioning results on the internet searchers in addition to guests went to your site or some other point of arrival inside your webpage. With this comes the chance to change over the guests to customers and to expand your money stream.
