Title: Redirect or Delete Thin Content
Post by: stillnesssage on 05-31-2014, 11:27:07
I have a site that was hit hard by the first Panda update and I’m just now getting around cleaning up the issues.

I Have a page that is thin content, and the topic is not worth rewriting the page content. Am I better off from an SEO standpoint to put up a 301 redirect to a relevant page or should I delete the page entirely and let WordPress automatically redirect the traffic to the home page?

I think you have go to remove the thin and fake content and replace the content with unique, high quality, good amount and which have also relevant.
I think after some time Google remove the panda penalty from your website.
301 is the permanent redirection and it also redirects the penalty also.

If You're website is ranking well then there is no need to replace the content with new but if you are facing ranking problem with that content than can go ahead with replacement of content as some Problem is occur with me....

Thin content wont cost much, but worthless thin content will. You got to format it well in order to have ranking for selected keywords. If it not giving any king of ranking, then replace it with fresh unique content.
