Hello just wondering if someone could offer some advice, it has come to my attention that another local computer shop is using my company name in the meta tags of there site, it looks like they have copied and pasted at least a page title from my home page in to there's so if you search for my company there's also comes up in the results.
So does anyone know if there's anything I can do to get them to remove anything relating to my site from there's ?

Yes, someone can steal your domain name. That's why its critical you don't share your login information with anyone. All someone needs to do is log in to your account where your domain is registered (Godaddy, Google, Bluehost, etc) "unlock" your domain and get EPP Code/Transfer code.

Yes, it is possible and that's not stealing if I understand your question correctly. By rule, anybody can register a domain name that has expired and deleted from the registry. Domain name usual under go a certain life cycle. At the drop stage, anyone can pick the domain name and register it.

Try to contact and email the local computer shop owner tell them that you are aware of their duplication activity from your website and they will be reported then punish accordingly.
