No disrespect but shoudln't you actually know this question you are posing to us? I mean you are offering seo training to your customers? And part of proper seo is "seo copywriting"
But I will try to explain the question so that it may benefit you.

Anyone can rank a keyword with few simple rules that Google suggests in their webmasters guidelines here >>> http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=35769
Second of all, you can read and learn some programming languages, like C, php, functional programming etc (well at least understand what it is) then you can learn more about how Google works by reading and watching and testing, more can be read here >>> http://code.google.com/edu/submissions/mapreduce-minilecture/listing.html

But this is just the beginning to take shape and form to answer your question, meaning, you can then watch Matt Cutts videos and try to understand some points about seo (since he slips somethings which he shouldn't)
then test, re test and then test some more. Anyhow, to cut the story short, once you get bit of an idea about all this, then, and only then, can you talk to Googlebot and your customers at the same time, because that is the question put forth, how can I create content for seo and also my potential customers.

You may at this stage think what in the world is the person talking about? right? but we need to know, Google does use some artificial intelligence within their technology, start here type "breadth first search" into Google since all these factors must be taken into account when creating content for seo purposes. Because seo is just that, communication, both to Google and also your human visitors, thus, always have the interests of your human readers, first.

I hope this reply starts you on a journey to answer your very complex question

While you write content just make sure your main keywords reside in your content with no more than 3% density. However the most important part of the content is that it should be eye catching and attractive enough to hold the readers. Also it is a good idea to keep updating the content of your website.

first of all change the structure of the website to escape the bounce rate. Either if you would get ranking for your keywords you will not have a business with it, so please can the design first its really awkward.

Hello, your title and description requires your immediate attention on the website link you have provided (your home page)
and to agree with your comment about the content is the main part of onsite seo,
yes content is the main part of onsite search engine optimisation, though that word "content" needs to be clarified here.
Everything that makes up your entire website is 'content" this includes text, html code, images, videos, pdf's (if you have them) word documents etc (meaning whatever is allowed for Googlebot to request and store in index must be considered as content.

And the second part of your question, as to how to write more seo friendly content "first work out, what your potential customers come to you for?" is it to find good how to, is it to buy something from you, is it inquire about your services?" then address this need first. Because your customers needs and wants come first, since there is no point of getting them to your website, if they are not going to find what they are looking for. Then once you work this out, you can then sprinkle some keywords in the usual places (in the manner of your speech is what's called usual places) surely your title and description should also contain them.

I hope this useful information on search engine optimisation helps your website

The proper implementation of the title tag and other meta tags like Keywords, Description, H1, H2.., Sitemap, Robot.txt and some things like implementation of proper redirect codes, keyword density etc. constitute on site optimization. It is just different from off-site optimization. This forum is also a good resource for SEO.
