Rather than meta tag, title tag plays an important role in optimizing the websites. Targeted keywords in title tag helps a lot to increase the search engine ranking. Meta-description helps to increase the click through rate of the websites in SERP.

Meta tags are the good part of the SEO, but now search engines do not give much importance to meta tags description. Search engines are giving stress on content.

Sure Meta tags are important, but they aren't considered now as SEO factors to increase page rank or traffic.
However they are necessary and every normal website must have well written meta Description and Keywords Tags!
Hey folks and spiders!!! I don't have a website to link to it in my signature  !-!

In my opinion your meta tags are fine but instead of using a single sentence in the title, you can use more click-oriented keywords.

In order to provide you with accurate feedback, however, I would need to see the meta tags you've created for your pages on bad credit loans and unsecured loans.

Meta tags are HTML elements that provide information about a webpage for search engines and website visitors. They are not visually apparent to site visitors but are used by search engines to discern the content of your page. This can influence how your page is displayed in search engine results, potentially impacting search engine optimization (SEO).

The essential meta tags you should look into are:

Title Tag: This is the name of your webpage. Make sure it's concise, includes your targeted keywords, and accurately reflects your page content.

Meta Description: This tag provides a brief summary of your webpage. This is often displayed in search engine results under the page title. Importantly, it should be compelling as well as descriptive and contain your targeted keywords.

Meta Keywords: This tag allows you to list the keywords for your page. However, as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, most major search engines don't use this for ranking.

There are other technical SEO tags too, such as Canonical Tag, Robots Meta Tag, Open Graph Meta Tags, and Twitter Cards, but the Title Tag and Meta Description are the most vital for basic SEO.

To give more detailed advice, let's break down some aspects of the meta tags:

Title Tag: It should be within 60-70 characters long, including spaces. This doesn't mean that longer titles are penalized, but any characters beyond that limit may be cut off in search engine results, making it difficult for people to discern the full content of the page.

A bad example might be: "Bad Credit Loans - Get Quick and Easy Loans with Bad Credit Today"
A better example is: "Quick Bad Credit Loans | Quick Approval | YourCompanyName"
Meta Description: This should be engaging and informative. They can be longer than title tags, but strive to keep them under 160 characters.

A bad example might be: "Get bad credit loans today. We offer the best bad credit loans for you. Apply now."
A better example is: "Struggling with bad credit? At YourCompanyName, we offer quick, secure, and tailor-made loans for those with bad credit. Get approved today!"
Keywords: It's worth noting that Google has publicly stated that they don't use the meta keywords tag as a ranking factor.

Besides, also ensure your meta tags are unique for each page, avoid keyword stuffing in your meta tags, include a call-to-action in your meta descriptions, and integrate your primary keyword nearer to the start of your title tag and meta description.

it's important to remember that effective SEO encompasses many factors, and meta tags are just one component. To deepen our dive into the topic, here are some additional meta tags you might find useful and guidelines to appropriately use them:

Meta Robots Tag: This tag instructs robots how to index and crawl your pages. Examples of directives are:

"noindex" tells search engines not to index the page.
"nofollow" tells them not to follow the links on the page.
"noarchive" tells them not to keep a cached copy of the page.
Canonical Tag: If you have identical or extremely similar content available under multiple URLs or even across multiple websites, a canonical tag can help you manage these duplicate pages. By adding a canonical tag, you're telling search engines which version of the URL you want them to treat as the original.

Viewport Tag: This isn't technically a meta tag for SEO, but it's still important for mobile experiences (which impact SEO). The viewport tag tells the browser how content should fit on your device's screen.

Open graph meta tags and Twitter Cards: These meta tags optimize your content for social sharing. They ensure that when your content is shared on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more, it displays in an optimized format with a title, description, and image. This can influence click-through rates from these platforms.

Remember, it's essential to monitor the impact of your SEO changes using tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics. These tools will give you insights into your site's performance and search ranking. This way, you can iterate on your strategy based on data, not just best practices.

Lastly, don't overlook the importance of good content and strong backlinks. Content remains king. Implementing these meta tag strategies while also making sure your content is engaging, relevant, and offers value to your visitors is crucial. And ensuring that reputable sites are linking to yours demonstrates to search engines that your site is trustworthy and authoritative.

let's explore some additional meta tags, as well as some best practices for SEO strategy:

Hreflang Tag: This tag comes into play if your website has content in different languages. It informs search engines of the language you're using on a specific page so they can serve that page to users who search in that language.

Meta Refresh, Meta Redirect, and Meta Content-Type: These tags aren't directly related to SEO but play a part in your site's functioning. The Refresh tag can refresh your page automatically after a specified time, the Redirect tag can send users to a new URL, and the Content-Type tag can specify the character set your site should use.

X-Robots-Tag: This can be part of the HTTP header for your site, letting you control indexing behavior at a more granular level.

When it comes to crafting an SEO strategy, here are some key points to remember:

Consistent Quality Content: Frequent updates with new, quality content can make your site more appealing to search engines. Regularly updated content is seen as one of the best indicators of a site's relevancy.

Engaging User Experience: Site navigation, color scheme, the absence of excessive pop-ups, a clear route to the information they need - all these can help engage and retain users.

Page Load Speed: A slow-loading website can negatively affect your ranking in the SERPs. Users are more likely to leave your site if it doesn't load quickly, which can increase your bounce rate.

Link Building: This is another crucial part of SEO. Creating backlinks from reputable sites can significantly boost your site's SEO performance. The more backlinks you generate from authoritative sites, the better your website will perform in search engine rankings.

Social Signals: While Google says social signals aren't a direct SEO ranking factor, an effective social media strategy can indirectly impact your SEO performance. It drives traffic to your website, gets your content shared, and increases your brand's visibility online.

Mobile-First Approach: With the increasing number of mobile users, search engines place a high value on mobile-friendly websites. Check how your site looks on mobile devices and consider implementing responsive design. Google's mobile-first indexing means the mobile version of your website becomes the starting point for what Google includes in their index.

Voice Search Optimization: With the rise of voice assistants like Siri, Google Assistant, and Alexa, optimizing your site for voice search is becoming increasingly important. This often includes focusing on more natural language and query phrases.
