Do you want your Google+ profile to be displayed when your website's article shows on Google search results. Here is the way to do this.

1. Link your content to your Google profile

Create a link to your Google profile from your webpage, like this

<a href="[profile_url]?rel=author">Google</a>

Replace [profile_url] with the your Google Profile URL.

Your link must contain the ?rel=author parameter. If it's missing, Google won't be able to associate your content with your Google profile.

2. Link to your content from your profile
The second step is to add a link back from your Google+ profile to your webpage :

To add links to your Google profile:

Sign in to your Google profile. pages opens in new window'
Click Edit profile.
Click the Contributor To section on the right (depending on how many photos you have, you may need to scroll to see this section), and then click Add custom link.
If you want, change the visibility of your link, and then click Save.

Its Done just wait for google To Index Your website's page.

Yes by using it you can show up your Google+ profile with your web page in Google SERP's and its called rich snippet. After recent update from Google now you wont be able to see your profile picture in SERP's it shows only name and profile link.
