Hi,

I got some issue and i dont know what am i doing wrong. I got main web which I'm tryig to rank at seo (web A). In first place i got some links from catalogs/webs directory, presellpages than i created web (based at wordpress cms - web B) and add link to web A. Thanks to this i got 1 place at serp in this one keyword! After two months i tried to do the same thing and create another web for seo (based at wordpress cms - web C) and ad link to web A with other keyword. But instead of get better results in serp i got worse.

The domain B and domain C are domains registered on me but on different host. Do you have any idea what can be wrong?

Weekly rankings for my main keywords position in Google (at top10):
Main keyword: 7-7-7-9-8-8
Other related keyword : serp - 6-6-6-7-8-8
Other related keyword : serp - 11-11-12-10-10  (keyword that i added a link which made lower other keywords)

It seems like you have been using a strategy of creating additional websites (web B and web C) and linking them to your main website (web A) in order to improve the SEO rankings for different keywords. However, instead of getting better results in the search engine results page (SERP), you have seen worse rankings.

There could be several reasons for this issue. Here are a few suggestions to consider:

1. Quality of backlinks: Make sure that the backlinks you are obtaining from web B and web C are of high quality. Search engines value backlinks from authoritative and relevant websites more than those from low-quality or unrelated sites.

2. Anchor text optimization: Ensure that the anchor text used for the links from web B and web C to web A is optimized for the target keywords. Using relevant and varied anchor text can help search engines understand the content of your main website better.

3. Content quality and relevance: Examine the content on web B and web C and ensure it is high-quality, unique, and relevant to the keywords you are targeting. Poorly written or irrelevant content can negatively affect your SEO rankings.

4. Diversify your SEO approach: Instead of relying solely on backlinks, diversify your SEO strategy. Focus on creating high-quality content, optimizing on-page elements (such as title tags and meta descriptions), and improving user experience on web A. This holistic approach can yield better long-term results.

5. Algorithm updates: Keep in mind that search engine algorithms frequently change, and what worked in the past may not work anymore. Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and best practices to adapt your strategies accordingly.

Here are a few more suggestions to consider:

1. Analyze your competitors: Take a look at the websites that are currently ranking higher than yours for the same keywords. Identify what strategies they might be using, such as the quality of their content, the number and quality of their backlinks, and their on-page optimization. This analysis can provide insights into what you may need to improve or adjust in your own approach.

2. Check for technical issues: Ensure that there are no technical issues on web A, web B, or web C that may be impacting your SEO rankings. Check factors such as page load speed, mobile-friendliness, broken links, and crawlability to make sure search engines can properly index and rank your websites.

3. Build a diverse backlink profile: Instead of solely relying on directories and catalogs, consider acquiring backlinks from a variety of sources. This can include guest blogging on relevant websites, participating in industry forums and discussions, or reaching out to influencers in your niche. A diverse backlink profile can help improve your website's authority and visibility in search engine rankings.

4. Monitor and adjust your strategy: Keep track of your SEO rankings regularly and make adjustments to your strategy as needed. Test different approaches, monitor the impact on your rankings, and make data-driven decisions. SEO is an ongoing process, and it's important to continually evaluate and optimize your efforts.

Check if it's because of backlinks or if the impact is due to the algorithm's impact.

Hey everyone,

I recently added a new backlink to my website, and I'm experiencing some unexpected issues. After inserting the backlink, my site went down, and I'm not sure why.
I suspect it might be related to the backlink, but I'm not entirely sure. Can anyone provide insights or suggestions on what might have gone wrong or how to troubleshoot this issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Note: Make sure to provide more details about the situation, like the type of backlink you added, any error messages you received, or any other relevant information, so that forum members can offer more specific advice.

If you recently created the backlinks, they may not have been crawled and indexed yet. Be patient and give search engines time to process the new links.

Many factors can lead to the loss of backlinks. The website may have permanently closed, the page may have been removed, or the webmaster may have chosen to take down your links from a post. Ahrefs is a useful tool for looking up lost backlinks. Either look for Lost Referring Pages or Lost Backlinks.  Links from spammy or low-authority websites are considered bad backlinks by search engines. An excessive number of backlinks is never a bad thing. Specific rules govern how websites can obtain backlinks from Google and other search engines. When you gather backlinks in violation of Google's guidelines, it can negatively impact your overall SEO strategy and lower your ranks.

The first and one of the most likely reasons why your links have disappeared is simply that they were low quality links to begin with, and the links dropped off naturally. The links might still exist on the pages if you go to visit, but as far as Google is concerned, they no longer exist.
