Schema is a collection of formal or structured data. Schema (microdata) tells the meaning and information of different web pages to the search engines. Schema markup is a great way to help your website stand out from your competitors website.

Hey,
Structured data's effect on rankings But there are some indications that search results with more extensive rich snippets (like those created using Schema) will have a better click-through rate. For best results, experiment with Schema markup to see how your audience responds to the resulting rich snippets. I hope this reply helps you.

Third, let's understand how to use schema markup on your website. Go to Google's Structured Data Markup Helper. Select the type of data that you plan to markup. Paste in the URL of the page or article that you want to markup. Highlight and select the type of elements to be marked up. Continue adding markup items.

Schema markup is done to make a webpage more friendly to search engine. Since, search engine is not a human beings so, it does not understand the whole meaning of your content written on your web pages. Schema markup help search engines to fully understand the content. So, google shows the result in a rich snippet. It doest not help you to rank higher in google. It help you to improve CTR and afcourse if CTR will be increses, you will get more visitors. If you get more visitors then your ranking will also increses.

You need to learn how to proper implement schema. You can visit the official website of schema.org
