Title tag is the title of your website defined in the webpage source to help spiders know about your website title. Google typically displays the first 50-60 characters of a title tag, or as many characters as will fit into a 512-pixel display.

The title and description should be of defined length i.e. 50-60 for title and 150-160 for description. Anything above that is used to be truncated .
Also avoid using same descriptions for each of the page.

Optimal Length for Search Engines. Google typically displays the first 50-60 characters of a title tag, or as many characters as will fit into a 512-pixel display. If you keep your titles under 55 characters, you can expect at least 95% of your titles to display properly.
