How to Get Listed in DMOZ Directory

Maybe you could wait more. Some years ago it took more than 3 months to get listed for me.
Some others sites that I submitted never got listed :( (and I never understood why).

Type in the URL without http:// or www prefixes (e.g., google.com) in the DMOZ search box to check if the website is already in the directory. After you have found three candidate sites that meet the editorial guidelines and are not already in the directory, write a simple title and description.

ndeed, the quick reaction is that it depends. It depends whereupon characterization and how powerful the editors are in that order. To add your site "aside" class it can expect about a month. To add your site to "some unsatisfactory" class, I've scrutinized in the DMOZ conversation about people keeping things under control for 2-3 years!
