DMOZ is tough but there are ways that you can try to get your website listed in DMOZ. Hre are three ways that you can use in order to include your business website in DMOZ:
- submitting a request;
- outreach to the DMOZ editor;
- become a DMOZ editor.

DMOZ (from directory.mozilla.org, an earlier domain name) is a multilingual open-content directory of World Wide Web links. The site and community who maintain it are also known as the Open Directory Project (ODP). It is owned by AOL but constructed and maintained by a community of volunteer editors.

I know that DMOZ directory does not send any email from them of any kind! it does not matter what it is - verified, accepted or rejected.

DMOZ is very tough directory and its not easy to get listed and if you suggest a site there and they have do not inform you about your site status.

Maybe you could wait more. Some years ago it took more than 3 months to get listed for me.
Some others sites that I submitted never got listed :( (and I never understood why).

Type in the URL without http:// or www prefixes (e.g., google.com) in the DMOZ search box to check if the website is already in the directory. After you have found three candidate sites that meet the editorial guidelines and are not already in the directory, write a simple title and description.

ndeed, the quick reaction is that it depends. It depends whereupon characterization and how powerful the editors are in that order. To add your site "aside" class it can expect about a month. To add your site to "some unsatisfactory" class, I've scrutinized in the DMOZ conversation about people keeping things under control for 2-3 years!

Getting listed in the DMOZ (Open Directory Project) directory can help improve your website's visibility and search engine ranking. Here are the steps to get listed in DMOZ:
1. Find the most relevant category for your website.
2. Submit your website's URL:
3. Provide a detailed and accurate description of your website.
4. Wait for review
5. Update your website regularly.
