Hi, is Myspace a good site to make promotions and marketing?
Well, it has quite a bunch of traffic there.

Actually you can advertise anywhere on your page.
There's an example I've add down there.

So, what's your opinion about it?

If you want to get your myspace account banned i'd go easy on sending out notifications to your memberbase. overall it's good for only one niche and that's musicians, glamour models and dancers. Everyone else, I'd avoid it like the plague...

Everyone on there just seems to be crazy.

This.  It's like half the people on MySpace aren't there for the community and social networking, it's to spam or stalk.

I've never had fun with myspace. I don't get friends, I don't get the interaction I only blog, but nobody reads it. What I often get on myspace is emails that sells products. Pretty annoying. No one talks about getting traffic from myspace. I do put links on myspace, and guess what? No traffic at all.

Sorry to hear that corenicles.
I got quite a lot of new friends there on myspace last time.
But I've never thought of using the opportunity to market there at that time.

Myspace is a good social media & social networking site and helps to promote your stuff in the market. But sure it's not a full-fledged advertising or marketing website.
