Twitter and Facebook are two very different applications. I doubt I could choose one over the other. What we need here are ways to make the two better compliment each other.

yes Twitter is easier than facebook you can get easy traffic on the twitter you should just need to submit link on there and your link will be share with your followers and you can get traffic automatically.you should need to like your friends status on the facebook then they also like your link.facebook is also the good social site to get traffic for your sites.
but i think both are easy to use and you can get easily traffic from both.on Facebook you can communicate with your friends and get so many like and share.but Twitter also very good if you have so many followers on twitter then communicate with then retweet their thought so that they may follow you back.but you should need to make an attractive profile on both.

Twitter is more easier than facebook and mostly people use twitter for social media marketing and its work. But in nowadays Linkedin is going popular from where you can get more targeted traffic.

Yes Getting Twitter Followers is little bit easy then Facebook but Facebook have more facilities then Twitter. So Facebook is more popular then Twitter and facebook derives more targeted traffic then Twitter. So i proffered Facebook.

It is much easier to monetize my Twitter account and — again since it has more people in it — that account has to have greater commercial value.
Think about it. On Facebook I can tell the world that I've just written an interesting post and that they should go have a look-see. But, damn it, then I have to see the responses of 50-100 people. They like it, they hate it, they can't be bothered with it, they find me annoying, etc.. I send out one thing and get 50 things back. Most of the time I don't want that.

to be able to be like on facebook, you must be unique enough and popular, while on twitter, you got to get more followers through following people and posting interesting tweets. But for sure, facebook is the best when it comes to marketing. :)
