Can anybody explain me, forum posting is responsible for what, either for link building or for link popularity? I am quite confused, please help. :o

If someone posts Wаrez on my forum, I am responsible, not the poster. If the copyright owner sent me an email demanding it off, I am required to either comply or have my host suspend me with a possible lawsuit from the company with the complaint for infringement. The user will lose nothing, other than a simple post he made on a website that no longer exists.
