PPC is a reasonably new way of paid advertising and you only have to pay when your advert is clicked by visitor. When visitors click on your advert they are taken to your website or sales page that is targeted to your advertisements product or service, meaning a higher chance of achieving a sale or enquiry.

I think Online marketing is full of hope now a day, Pay per Click advertising and Search engines Optimization are the two most important online business promotion techniques.
Pay per click advertising is a part of paid search marketing. Under the PPC form of advertising, advertisers are required to bid for advertisement spots on search engines, which charge them for every click on the advertisement.

PPC (pay per click)
PPC is an Internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, where advertisers pay the website owner. Content sites commonly charge a fixed price per click. PPC "display" advertisements, also known as "banner" ads, are shown on web sites or search engine results with related content that have agreed to show ads.

The advantage of using PPC is that it can be narrowed down, not only by phrase, but by day, and even time of day, and can be stopped and started at any time. For instance, if you sell a seasonal item, you can run your ad when the item you sell is in season, like lawnmowers or Halloween costumes, and then stop when the season ends. Also if you check your stats and find out that, for example, you get very few clicks on Mondays after 5 pm, and those who do click don't buy. You still have to pay for these clicks, unless you schedule your ad so that it doesn't run Mondays after 5 pm. Since your ad is not running, you wouldn't get any clicks, and, as soabbd said, you would "stop paying".

Benefits of PPC Marketing are

1.Since the PPC ads are based on keywords which results from a proper keyword research, advertisers get a highly targeted traffic

2.Advertisers do not have to pay for the ad space. They only pay the publishers or the search engines when they recieve traffic through clicks.

3.PPC advertising model is a less expensive medium compared to the traditional advertising. Advertisers get to test the market first through PPC advertising and extends his campaign further.

Pay-per-click is an internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, in which advertisers pay the publisher (typically a website owner) when the ad is clicked. Farris et al have defined it simply as “the amount spent to get an advertisement clicked.

With search engines, advertisers typically bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target market. Content sites commonly charge a fixed price per click rather than use a bidding system. PPC "display" advertisements, also known as "banner" ads, are shown on web sites or search engine results with related content that have agreed to show ads.

Do you know any site that allows PPC or CPC subscription for free? I mean, I don't want to pay any kind of registration fee for the same.

You might know the term from CPC (cost per click) which essentially means the same thing.  From an Advertiser side, conversions are made when users click on your graphical/text banner ad or in-line text ad from a website.  From a webmaster perspective, you earn for each click of the banner ad and/or in-line text ad from  your visitors.

PPC is a style of website marketing by which advertisers pay a fee each and every time one-of their ads is clicked. Primarily, it’s a means of shopping for visits to your site, as opposed to trying to generate these visits organically.

In a PPC campaign, you pay Google however much you wish to have them list ads for your site at the top and right of the organic search listings. When someone clicks on your add, you pay the current Cost Per Click (CPC) from your budget.

PPC is an Internet marketing formula used to price online advertisements. In PPC programs the online advertisers will pay Internet Publishers the agreed upon PPC rate when an ad is clicked on. On single website -- or network of content websites -- the site publisher would usually set  a fixed pay per click rate.  Also called cost-per-click (CPC).
