Anyone have Ideas, one of my travel site. I have running campaign get irrelevant hits or fake you say. How i stop and get natural and genuine hits only. Please anybody have Ideas to suggest me.

Hi Spyindiaanu,

I depend if you a doing search or display (or something els).

In Search it helps to add negative keywords and let your ads be trickered by long tail keywords.

In display you can ask to not have your ads show on bad quality sites (they are usually the one that click there own ads).

If you can provide prove, I am sure Adwords link to hear from you and they will give you the money back.

There are several reasons why you get unnecessary hits/clicks on your PPC campaign.
  • Landing page doesn’t match search terms - If your ad takes visitors to the content that doesn't match to what they are searching for, they will bounce. So make sure that your landing page content matches your ad copies.
  • Location - It is possible that some geographic locations doesn't give you the conversion. Add those locations in the exclusion list.
  • Click Fraud - It's hard to deal with bots and spammers. They eat up your budget resulting in low conversion rate. You can use tools that blocks bot clicks and monitor your campaigns.
  • Compulsory user registration - 37% of people don’t complete the checkout process due to mandatory customer registration. So allow customers to checkout as a guest to increase conversion rate.
  • Negative Keywords - Make sure that you using correct keywords so that your ads will shown what your visitors are searching for. Irrelevant keywords must be added to negative keywords list to avoid unnecessary hits.
There are some other reasons such as bad page load time, bad graphics, boring or irrelevant content. Improve these things to get better conversion rate and avoid unnecessary clicks.
