What is the different between PPC and PTC?
« on: 06-19-2010, 11:03:27 »
What is the different between PPC –paid per click and PTC –paid to click? I know some websites like neobux, palmbux or gagabux are PTC sites where we are paid to click ads everyday. And PPC is something like adwords or adsense.

Both the terms are being used synonymously these days but they certainly difer from each other.

PPC sites are those such as Adsense, Adbrite etc which pays its publishers when someone clicks on the ad displayed on their website.

PTC refers to sites of kind bux.to which most of them are spam. There are tons of such sites but most of them are scam. Few legal ones that I know are bux.to and clixsense.com

PPC pay per click is paid ads on a click on search engines like Google Yahoo and Bing. The traffic is targeted because users are searching without any compensation.
PTC paid to click is completely different from PPC program. The advertiser will pay the viewer certain amount for clicking and viewing the advertisement.
In other words:
PPC = internet advertising
PTC = internet advertising FRAUD

Pay-per-click is an internet advertising used to direct traffic to websites, and then in which advertisers pay the publisher when the ad is clicked.and have defined it simply as the amount to get an advertisement clicked. Paid To Click is an online business model that draws online traffic from people to earn money from home.
paid to click is one type of personal web site marketing.

There is nothing be confuse, it is very clear that what is PPC ,Pay Per Click or can say pay for per click to Google or other Search engines which is campaign PPC to their affiliates on the other hand PTC is Pay To Click it is the service provided by some web site which has affiliate mean that PTC service provider is behave like a middle man or can say broker and you have to pay to PTC service provider for per clicks and it can be fraud mostly.
Mostly PTC service provider has a mini site network and some fraud user to click frequently with different IP's and locations so personally I think PTC is not good now I want to know your and other webmasters views about it.

PTC is Paid To Click. It is a PTC site too and it offers money for members for clicking the ads which are added by advertisers!

PTC can help you very much with getting advertising to your sites! These sites will pay you an average of one cent to view an ad for 30 seconds.

NTC thermistors are the usual type. This means that as the temperature of the environment rises, the resistance of the thermistor drops.
The PTC type does the opposite of the NTC - as the temperature rises , so does the resistance of the thermistor.
