With due respect I am not disagree with the others. SEO and PPC  both are related to SEM.
Some tips you should remember

1.If your customer wants quick results and have some budget you should try for PPC.

2. If you want to walk in the long run in the Online marketing, today or tomorrow you will go for SEO.

3. Besides that, Find a influencer who have huge followers of your targeted niche and make a deal with him. And ofcourse, it costs money.

PPC or SEO? According to me, I used SEO and user friendly than google. Because according to the few I saw the ad on the first page very few people click on that mainly find the pages below to find information.

Well both the things are different.
SEO is necessary for long term organic. results If you want urgent leads then you should run PPC Campaign for your website.

The main difference between Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay Per Click (PPC) is that traffic coming from SEO (organic) is free while traffic generated from PPC is not free (as the name implies you have to pay a cost per click).  This is also the reason why you may sometimes see the terms organic search engine listings and paid search engine listings (or Paid Search Advertising – PSA).

SEO is important even if you're running a PPC campaign. The single major advantage of SEO is, statistically, it brings you higher quality traffic and more trusting leads. In fact, many searchers have subconsciously trained themselves to ignore "paid results" entirely when browsing the web or searching on Google.

The article details that organic results are 8.5x more likely to be clicked on than paid search results!
