ccTLDs are the single strongest way to show search engines and users that site content is specifically targeted to a certain country or region — but, importantly, NOT specifically a certain language.

ccTLD stands for "country code top-level domain". It is a top-level domain reserved for a country's own use. Each country has been given a 2-letter abbreviation such as .us for the United States or .uk for the United Kingdom. Domize currently supports only the .us ccTLD.

A country code top-level domain (ccTLD) is an Internet top-level domain generally used or reserved for a country, sovereign state, or dependent territory identified with a country code. All ASCII ccTLD identifiers are two letters long, and all two-letter top-level domains are ccTLDs.
