If you have got an outsized web site with heaps of pages then i might advocate you to require the assistance of a applied scientist and generate sitemap victimisation programming script as a result of most of the XML sitemap creator tools can't assist you produce the proper sitemap includes all the web site URLs.

Basically, XML sitemap creator tools work robotically wherever they don't perceive the subsequent stuffs:

For example:

http://www.WEBSITE.com and http://www.WEBSITE.com/index each area unit identical page.
If you have got disallowed OR place NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW in few pages then tools don't perceive that these URLs mustn't be enclosed in Sitemap.XML
Most of the tools area unit restricted to fetch a restricted range of URLs therefore if your web site has a lot of pages then tools won't turn out the whole sitemap

Hope this helps!

I used xml-sitemaps in the past. It is flawless. I used the same tool (one license) to index around 15 websites, each having thousands of dynamic urls. We could configure the script to generate sitemap for each website, periodically using a cron job.

I have setup this index with Google search engine. I used it to generate index for html pages. It seem to support several formats, image, video, mobile, etc. In addition to Google, it can be setup with other search engines like Yahoo & Bing.

I often use DYNO Mapper, and Google sitemap. You also go with it. Let's try and take one!
