Are Full page Ads Helpful for SEO

Hi all,
Can anybody plz explain me how full page advertisements are helpful in search engine optimization. As per my knowledge one has to spend a lot for full page ad and the price varies according to the PR of the advertisement page/site. So it may be helpful in PR flowing. But Can anyone explain its broad advantages or disadvantages? or is it a waste of money ?

Yeah, sometimes. BUt using the different SEO techniques is better.

Its better to have inline Ads rather than full page Ad. Most commonly people skip the full page Ad.

Are you more concerned with your PR or with your traffic? If I find a full page advertisement on a web page... I would immediately bounce back from the page.

To me Full page advertisement = Bad user experience.

Full page ads can show the results quickly but not for long time , and for the full page ad you have to spend lot of money. So it is not advisable for such kind of advertisement. Yes sometime it it ok if you can afford , but use of the seo techniques with unique content is much better for the site results.
