We cant say nofollow links are worthless because it gives traffic to a site but it cannot produce link-juice to a website.. :)

The truth is that Google does not pass PageRank through nofollow links. However, having a good number of nofollow links can still be beneficial for your website in other ways. Nofollow links can help with brand visibility, referral traffic, and building relationships with other websites. Additionally, having a diverse link profile, which includes both nofollow and follow links, can signal to search engines that your website is legitimate and trustworthy. So, while nofollow links may not directly impact your search engine rankings, they can still play a role in your overall online presence and success.

The truth is that nofollow links do not pass PageRank or direct SEO value to the linked page. Google's official statement is correct in saying that they do not pass any value.

However, it's also important to note that there are many other factors that contribute to a website's ranking. Google's ranking algorithm takes into account various aspects such as the quality and relevance of the content, user experience, site speed, mobile-friendliness, and many more.

So, while nofollow links may not directly impact your ranking, having a good mix of both dofollow and nofollow links can still benefit your website's overall SEO strategy. Nofollow links can provide referral traffic, exposure, and brand awareness, which indirectly contribute to your overall online presence and authority.

Nofollow links are HTML attributes that are used to indicate to search engines not to crawl or pass PageRank to the linked page. They were introduced by search engines, including Google, as a way to combat spam and prevent manipulation of search rankings.

Here are a few key points to understand about nofollow links:

1. Nofollow attribute: Nofollow links have the rel="nofollow" attribute in their HTML code. This tells search engine crawlers not to follow the link or consider it as a signal for ranking purposes.

2. Crawling: Search engine crawlers may still discover and crawl nofollow links, but they won't pass any equity to the linked page.

3. User-generated content: Nofollow is commonly used for links in user-generated content, like comments on blogs or forums, to prevent spammers from gaining SEO benefits.

4. Sponsored content: If you have sponsored or paid content on your website, Google recommends using the rel="sponsored" attribute instead of nofollow to indicate that it is an advertisement.

5. Referral traffic: While nofollow links don't directly impact SEO, they can still generate valuable referral traffic to your website if users click on those links.

6. Brand exposure: Even though nofollow links don't pass PageRank, they can still help increase brand awareness and visibility when placed on high-traffic websites.

It's important to have a good mix of both dofollow and nofollow links as part of a comprehensive link building strategy. Both types of links serve different purposes and contribute to a well-rounded SEO approach.

No follow is also important to our site. I am also having too many no follow. It doesn't matter. It will give traffic. Traffic will increase means our site rank also improve. So it is also useful for our site.

Nofollow is not provide PR juice to your site but it will still helps on SERP although it is not as good as dofollow. And build link on both dofollow and nofollow are both needed to make your backlink look more natural.

Nofollow is not useless but yes it is less effective than dofollow. Google will drop it in PR juice. But we can get traffic from nofollow links and high traffic can help in getting high PR as well

Pournima

Nofollow links are useful for website ranking but, compare to Dofollow its less effective.

Corwin

No follow links are effective but not as compare to do follow....No follow links only generate traffic for the website..
