Hello friends,

If online visitors simply visit one webpage and left the webpage, automatically increase bounce rate. It's not a good sign for any website. Is the bounce rate can affect SEO rank? How?

Bounce rate defines the popularity of your website. It helps to increase your visitor count and the time they spend on your website. Having a low bounce rate increases the popularity of your website which in turn helps to rank your website higher in search engines.

Yes it can affect your SEO ranking. With lots of things changing in internet marketing field, bounce rates are also treated as the ranking factor to some extent. It increases when someone visits your website and exit from the same webpage he landed. That clearly means the visitor found nothing in your website that is what he is looking for. So you have to make sure the landing page says it all about what you deliver.

Yes, its not good, a higher bounce rate show that landing page are not relevant to your visitor. If your web page has a high bounce rate for any particular search term then Google might lower your ranking and devalue your site for that search term.

A lot of marketers said that the higher the bounce rate, the higher the risk of having a decreasing ranking. As we all know if you connect a webmaster tools account to your website, wherein you are embedding a code there, the Googlebot has the chance to identify your bounce rate and that is why it can influence your ranking although Google is not directly saying that bounce rate is considered as their ranking metrics but think it of another way around wherein what is really its purpose? Is it only a guide? Or it has something to do with the rankings?

At the same time the other purpose of presenting this one is that as a web owner we are informed on which pages we will make some improvements. Bounce rate is simply letting us know that the visitor or user did not find the page relevant that is why he is closing the page or left immediately.

As a webmaster, although it is not officially presented that it can affect the rankings or even it is not added as a ranking factor, we still have to make sure that our content are sticky and valuable in this way we don't have the fear in having a higher bounce rate that can affect rankings.

Yes definitely. High bounce rate means that user is no longer interested in your website. From SEO prospective User should stay on the page, so as its session duration will be good & hence page value increases.

Yes Exactly. High soar price approach that user is not interested by your website. From SEO potential User need to stay at the web page, so as its session length may be proper & as a result web page cost will increase. You have to reduce bounce rate by video marketing.
