While choosing keywords for a website you need to take care of niche related to your website.

Do proper keyword research and choose targeted keywords on which you want to rank for

Make sure that you choose keywords that don't have a very high competition as it will be difficult to rank on.

You have two options;
1) a brandable domain name - which can help build a community and brand around your site - this however takes time, investment and patience
2) selected keyword - although search engines no longer favor exact search terms within the domain name itself, for particularly low competition keywords you can rank pretty quickly and easy.

It really does depend on your site, your niche, or your product. Is it a long-term project or short?
