You have two options;
1) a brandable domain name - which can help build a community and brand around your site - this however takes time, investment and patience
2) selected keyword - although search engines no longer favor exact search terms within the domain name itself, for particularly low competition keywords you can rank pretty quickly and easy.

It really does depend on your site, your niche, or your product. Is it a long-term project or short?

Here are the following 5 simple steps for Effective Right Keyword
1. THINK LIKE A CUSTOMER--Identify your target audience and put yourself into the shoes of a customer when you create your initial list of keywords.
2.  STUDY THE COMPETITION--Make a list of your main competitors and go to their websites to see what keywords they are targeting.
3. UNDERSTAND THE LONG TAIL KEYWORD--Long-tail keywords are a combination of three or more words or phrases. While long-tail keywords tend to boast lower search volumes, they generally attract more relevant traffic, are typically less competitive, and easier to rank well on.
4. USE KEYWORD RESEARCH TOOLS--Use Google AdWords Keyword Tool to research your potential target keywords. With these tools, you can gather data on keyword volume and trends, keyword competition, similar keywords and more.
5. ANALYZE THE RESULTS--After choosing your keywords don't forget to monitor them and analyze the results. There are often trending keywords or phrases, along with new keywords your competitors may be using.

Don't forget to utilize your keywords wherever possible! Insert your keywords into blog posts, social media posts and your website's content. The more you use keywords within your content, the easier it will be for your target audience to find you.

keywords are the most important part of SEO, I can say that it is the pillar of website or SEO, without it, you cant imagine ranking and traffic to your sites.
you have to choose your business or service related keywords for your site after that you have to look on search volumes of keywords so choose high searching keywords, after that check competition of keywords so you have to choose high ranking search volume keywords with low competition and last comes bid choose low bids keywords
