Cookie stuffing involves placing an affiliate tracking cookie on a website visitor's computer without their knowledge, which will then generate revenue for the person doing the cookie stuffing. This not only generates fraudulent affiliate sales, but also has the potential to overwrite other affiliates' cookies, essentially stealing their legitimately earned commissions.

It is an affiliate marketing technique in which, as a result of visiting a website, a user receives a third-party cookie from a website unrelated to that visited by the user, usually without the user being aware of it.

Hi,

Cookie Stuffing is an  affiliate marketing technique in which, as a result of visiting a website, a user receives a third-party cookie from a website unrelated to that visited by the user, usually without the user being aware of it.If the user later visits the target website and completes a qualifying transaction (such as making a purchase), the cookie stuffer is paid a commission by the target.

Cookie Stuffing is an affiliate marketing illegal practice. It is when you put a cookie on someone computer without them knowing. Some people use it on their review sites so they still can get a commission even if the person doesn't click through their link. In other words, you're making money not by referring people to the merchant's website as you should be doing, but by secretly loading the website (and dropping the affiliate cookie) in the background without the visitor's knowledge. Most people consider it blackhat marketing. You could also get banned from an affiliate or CPA network if they catch you using this method.
