Choosing the best keywords

I have a few seo questions pertaining to keywords:


  • Does anyone know of a tool that I could use that could help me determine or recommend the best keywords I should use?
    Should I add keywords to the title of each page?  If so, how many keywords or characters should I use?
    I already have metatags on each webpage.  However, I have come across many sites that include  keyword tags at the bottom of each page.  Does this offer any seo benefits and should I consider adding tags on my pages?

Choosing the best keywords for website is really very important. You can take help from Google for selecting the best keywords. Selecting all the pages among the keywords are not important. But be sure of do the keywords representing whats your site about or not ...  :)   :))

You can choose keywords on the following basis
1)Competitor based
2)Location based
3)Product or company based
4)Market trend based
Then you can use Google Adword tool for choosing keywords on the basis which have Low competition,high local and global searches.Yes you should add keywords in title tag it should be 50-60 characters.You should not stuff the keywords in Meta tags,this can be harmful for you if you do so it will be considered as black hat seo.You should follow all the guidelines that are provided by search engine for creating meta tags.
