Bounce rate is something when visitors visit your site  and bounce back without even any other pages. Exit rate is page specific. If a visitor exits from any of the pages, then the pace at which this takes place is called exit rate.

Bounce rate is the percentage of people who landed on a page and immediately left. Bounces are always one page sessions.. Exit rate is the percentage of people who left your site from that page. Exits may have viewed more than one page in a session. That means they may not have landed on that page, but simply found their way to it through site navigation.

Difference between exit rate and bounce

About "and Page B has a lower Bounce Rate than Page Exit rate %" . Yes they wrote wrong that "Page B: 33% (bounce rate is higher than exit rate" , because 33% is not higher than 50%

Bounce rate for page B is correct ( 3 sessions started with page B and only one was Page B > Exit so 1 out of 3 is 33.33 % )
Definition : "For all pageviews to the page, the exit rate is the percentage that were the last in the session."

Exit rate for page B is correct 50 % ( 4 sessions included page B and for 2 it was the last in the session , tricky because Tuesday it was the last and the only one in the session)

Exit rate means visitor who exits might have visited other pages on your site, but just exited on that specific page.or other hand Bounce Rate is the percentage of visitors that hit your website on a given page and don’t visit any other pages on your site. i would think Google looks to see if you continue your search, going back to the Google search results and looking at more sites.I really doubt that bounce rate make a different on SERP..

Bounce Rate is the percentage of visitors that visit a page on your website and don’t visit any other pages. For example someone may come in to a page via a search engine and then go to another site without visiting any of your other pages.
The Exit Rate on the other hand is the percentage of people who have left the page but would have previously visited other pages. The figure is worked out by the percentage of visitors that leave your website from a page based on the number of visits to that page.

To understand the difference between exit and bounce rates for a particular page in your site, keep in mind three things:

For all pageviews to the page, the exit rate is the percentage that were the last in the session.

For all sessions that start with the page, bounce rate is the percentage that were the only one of the session.

The bounce rate calculation for a page is based only on visits that start with that page.

Bounce rate can be defined as the percentage of visitor coming to your site and leaves instantly.

Exit rate can be defined as the percentage of visitors coming to your website and leaves your website after spending some time.
