 Hi guys,

I have a questions about the website structure.  I would like to illustrate my uncertainty with an example.

Example: A company offers the rental of its own vacation homes and the management of
other peoples vacation homes in toronto.

Question : Do I need 2 different domains if I serve 2 different target groups?

I would suggest you have the same domain to target both things. You have two purposes basically & so you can categorize it in the navigation. By doing so, you can educate the target audience regarding the services that you provide.

Different target groups feature, we can see it in the Google ads while targeting audience. Targeting a different group of audience can give better leads.

Can you share your requirements in detail? no need of example. share genuine details. and every website target multiple groups with the one website. so it depends on your requirements!

I suggest you use only 1 domain to target both the things.
As you are going to rent houses for vacation and people will not look whether the houses are owned by you or by other parties.
By putting your home along with others on that domain, you would be able to create contrasts in the offerings and thus bag more customers in that deal.

Using a single domain is preferable!!!

The four main types of market segmentation are:
Demographic segmentation: age, gender, education, marital status, race, religion, etc.
Psychographic segmentation: values, beliefs, interests, personality, lifestyle, etc.
Behavioral segmentation: purchasing or spending habits, user status, brand interactions, etc.
